Victorian Time Traveler
Transport yourself backwards to the 1880s with the Victorian Time Traveler and learn about Körner’s Folly and the family who made it a home. Kits come with all the supplies and digital resources you need to enjoy hands-on discovery in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math (STEAM). Kits are $3 per child, and include all activity supplies. The program is designed for Elementary and Middle School Aged Children.
Explore the history of Körner’s Folly, the arts, and more at your own pace with this immersive program. Kits will be available for curbside pickup Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at Körner’s Folly (413 S Main Street, Kernersville) 9am-4pm.
Thanks to generous funding from the NC CARES: Humanities Relief Grant from the North Carolina Humanities Council, we are able to offer this program at a reduced rate with scholarships for free kits available. This emergency grant funding was provided to North Carolina cultural organizations experiencing hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are grateful to be one of 59 organizations the North Carolina Humanities Council selected for this funding,” said Dale Pennington, Executive Director.
