Roam through all 22 rooms of this architectural wonder on a self-guided tour. Explore at your own pace, step back in time to learn about local history, enjoy fine examples of southern decorative arts, and experience the whimsical, maze-like floor plan with family and friends.
On a self-guided tour, there are informational signs in each room that help you navigate the house museum and tell you the history of each room. Self-guided tours are particularly good for small groups who enjoy taking photos, socializing, or would prefer to move through the house at their own pace. On a self-guided tour you can take as much or as little time as you like in each room, but most visitors take about an hour to an hour and a half to see the whole house.
Körner’s Folly is open to the public for self-guided tours Tuesday – Saturday from 10 AM – 4 PM, and Sundays from 12 PM – 4 PM with the last allowed entry at 3 PM, to ensure visitors have time for leisurely exploration.
During public tour hours, no reservations are required and amateur photography is allowed. As a great addition to any tour, don’t forget to request a scavenger hunt for children or the young at heart!
