What a fun place, even if you don't care for the history the design elements are breath taking. We took the self guided tour, allow extra time than what is recommended. So many nooks & crannies to see

Great self guided tour of a beautiful home. We loved all of the ornate trim, narrow passageways and stairways, and beautiful murals. Think small scale Biltmore.

It's super interesting. A well documented look at the late 1800s.

We had a lovely self-guided tour here over the holidays. The decor changes every year with a new theme, and it is beautifully done. They also have a scavenger hunt with items to find in each of the... 20+ rooms, which was a fun way to keep my 6 year old niece's attention while walking through.read more

I’ve lived here my entire life and had never visited. We went for a Victorian Christmas, and it was just amazing! Such a beautiful, unique home even more resplendent with the Christmas decor.

This is an interesting "house". I did take some pictures but didn't get any good angles. Well worth the walk through.

Beautiful furniture, unusual design floor plan. The house is four floors and some stairs are quite narrow.

Second visit, but four years between them. They continue restoration of the unique rooms and furnishings in this almost 150 year old home.

Just amazing the way the house was built. Also shows how small people were back in 1880. Does have very tight steps. Ladies I would not recomend heels.

Loved it! Tickets $12 adult, self-guided, 3 floors of a beautiful Victorian house. First 2 floors are the living quarters and 3rd floor is a live theatre. Couldn't stand up straight in some of the... rooms as I was too tall, must have been shorter back then, but the house was awesome! Recommend.read more

Absolutely loved this house tour. Truly unique home. Cannot believe I had not been before - I’ll return with my 11 and 13 year old. This time I brought the fiancé, our 3 month old and our 1 year old.... Kept them in carriers strapped to our bodies and it worked out nicely. Loved the interactive cards. Best house tour around! Some narrow areas, we fit fine, but would be challenging for some people. $12 for an adult, we spent nearly 2 hours in the house, well worth the time and money. A great adventure for us all.read more
