Be A Part of History
Through a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Körner’s Folly Foundation works to foster an appreciation for history, the arts, and enterprise through the preservation and interpretation of Körner’s Folly, a one-of-a-kind example of eclectic Victorian architecture and the whimsical vision of artist and designer Jule Gilmer Körner. Our vision is to be a place of connection between the past and the future, between the arts and industry, and among people who share a common appreciation for innovation.
We are dedicated to fulfilling this mission through research and educational programming, engaging events, and exploring the stories of all people who lived at this historic site. These activities go hand-in-hand with our efforts to restore and preserve this iconic landmark that was once perilously close to being lost. Thanks to the dedication of Körner and Kerner descendants and members of the Kernersville community, the 22-room home was saved for the education and enjoyment of future generations.
