Kernersville Yuletide 2024
Festive family-friendly fun takes center stage in Kernersville! On Saturday, December 14 four local destinations come together to host a Yuletide to remember.
Körner’s Folly, the Kernersville Auto Museum, Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden, and the Kernersville Museum, all located in and around historic downtown Kernersville, make for a great way to entertain your crew of family and friends while enjoying special seasonal offerings! - Tour Historic Körner’s Folly 10 am – 4 pm, built in 1880 by artist and designer Jule Körner and featuring splendid Victorian-inspired Christmas décor. Tour Admission: Adults – $12, Children (ages 6-18) – $6, 5 & Under – Free. Tickets available at kornersfolly.org or onsite upon arrival.
- German Christmas Market, 10 am – 2 pm inside Visitors Center (free admission). Find unique holiday gifts for loved ones and support local artisans.
- Visit with Old Saint Nick, 11 am – 1 pm in the elegant Reception Room of the historic home for photos and Christmas wishes (included with admission).
- Christmas Ornament Crafting in the Visitors Center for all ages – add to our Community Room tree!
- Performances by Triad A Capella Connection at 1:00 pm in Cupid’s Park Theatre on the 3rd floor of the historic home.
- Acoustic music by Allen Alston in the Visitors Center, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
- Hot chocolate and treats from 10 am – 2 pm by Vice Cream!

- Pop in the Wyatt & Dolores LeFever Garden Gift Shop for décor, gifts, and specialty items for nature lovers in your life! 10 am – 4 pm. Outdoor garden spaces open daily from dawn until dusk. Free admission.
- The Spectacular Holiday Blooms return this year with over 8,000 ‘flowers’! Enjoy a stroll through the dazzling wisteria lights, get lost in the illuminated trees, and discover more surprises as you wander through the seasonal displays. Volunteers have put in over 5,000 hours assembling recycled materials into works of art that come alive when the sun goes down! 5:30 – 9:00 pm; last entry at 8:30.
Spectacular Holiday Blooms Admission: Adults (18+) – $5, Student (ages 6-17) – $2, Child (5 & under) – Free. Tickets available for purchase at cienerbotanicalgarden.org or at the door (cards only).

- Enjoy a Hometown Christmas at the Historic Village, 10 am – 4pm with live trees adopted and decorated by the community throughout the campus. Outdoor exhibits include the restored Tobacco Barn and Weaning Cabin. 10 am – 4 pm. Hometown Christmas Admission: Free
- The synthetic ice skating rink will be back this year and open from 3:30 – 8:30 pm during this year’s Yuletide event. Enjoy Downtown Kernersville while it is decked out in its holiday best, all while skating right in the heart of the historic district. Ice Skating Admission: $5 for 30 minutes (Skate Rental included; Cash only)
