Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this program has been modified to a new At-Home Program: Victorian Time Traveler. This program provides a complete supply kit and videos for families to step back in time and discover what life was like in the Victorian Era.

Victorian Time Traveler Kits include virtual exhibits featuring never-before-seen collection objects, 5 hands-on STEAM activities (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), and video demonstrations.  Order online and kits are available for curbside, contact-less pickup and include all supplies for hands-on activities.

Explore the history of Körner’s Folly, the arts, and more at your own pace with this immersive program. Kits will be available for pickup starting Wednesday, September 9, 2020 @ 9am. Curbside pickup is available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at Körner’s Folly (413 S Main Street, Kernersville) 9am-4pm. To buy your kit and schedule pickup, scroll down.

Thanks to generous funding from the NC CARES: Humanities Relief Grant from the North Carolina Humanities Council, we are able to offer this program at a reduced rate with scholarships available. This emergency grant funding was provided to North Carolina cultural organizations experiencing hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are grateful to be one of 59 organizations the North Carolina Humanities Council selected for this funding,” said Dale Pennington, Executive Director.

Kits are $3 per child.  This program is designed for Elementary and Middle School aged children.
