Join us for a day of fun, learning, and adventure as we journey through the rich history of Scouting! All Scouts are invited to enjoy this program. Dive into the history of Scouting from its founding days to modern times. Try your hand at classic Scout crafts, Morse code, knot-tying, and more. Play historic yard games, make hands-on art activities, and complete a special Scouts-themed scavenger hunt through all 22-rooms of Körner’s Folly.
This special event held on the grounds of historic Körner’s Folly will showcase over a century of Scouting traditions, values, and outdoor skills. Scouts of all ages will rotate through interactive stations representing different eras of Scouting movement, from the early 1900s to modern-day practices.
Last house entry time is at 1:00 PM. Plan to come early or stay later after your tour. Activities can be done in any order! Once activities are complete, scouts will earn the Körner’s Folly patch for their vests. Scouts are welcome to bring lunch to eat picnic-style on our grounds or in the John and Bobbie Wolfe Visitors Center Community Room. Parking for the Visitors Center and historic Körner’s Folly is located at 401 S. Main Street, Kernersville, NC.
