Körner’s Folly Photography Session

Körner’s Folly is available for photo shoots when the house is not open for public tours.  Tuesday– Sunday, 4pm to 6pm. Monday we are closed to the public but potentially could have a reserved tour, photoshoot, field trip, etc. Please check with the Körner’s Folly Operations Coordinator for availability.

Event rentals which require photo shoots can be arranged during any 2-hour period prior to the event day. Scheduling for a photo shoot is subject to events and programming. All arrangements must be made ahead of time with Körner’s Folly staff.

The base rate for photo shoots is $100/hour, minimum of 2 hours.  A Körner’s Folly staff member will be on site during all photoshoot sessions.

 

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is due to confirm the date of the rental.  The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to the date of the rental.

The rental deposit and fee is non-refundable.  If the event must be cancelled, every effort will be made to reschedule the event, up to 1 year from the deposit date.

 

 

Additional Rules & Regulations

  1. Smoking – Körner’s Folly is a NO SMOKING facility.
  2. Furniture – Furniture and accessories may not be moved or relocated without the permission and assistance of the Körner’s Folly Operations Coordinator. This request must be made in writing and listed under the rental agreement terms.  The hanging, taping, or attaching of any item to the walls, woodwork, or furniture is prohibited.
  3. Preservation – At all times personnel and participants will restrain from sitting, laying, moving, placing food or drink utensils, or otherwise misusing or abusing, furnishings and/or accessories displayed in Körner’s Folly. All food and beverages are limited to the Reception Room.
  4. Candles – Use of candles or other sources of open flame is strictly prohibited inside historic Körner’s Folly and the Visitors Center.
  5. Tables/Chairs – Use of the folding chairs and tables provided by Körner’s Folly is permitted. They are to be returned to their proper storage location at the end of each use. Only Körner’s Folly staff are authorized to handle Körner’s Folly property. Please ask assistance.
  6. Clean Up – At the conclusion of the rental, the renter is responsible for cleanup and returning the property to its original condition. This can include but is not limited to: clean the building, sweep all floors, take out the trash, clean the kitchenette and any other areas that are used.  For any cleaning that must be done after the use of the building, a fee of $300.00 will be charged.
  7. HVAC – Renters are strictly prohibited from turning off or adjusting the HVAC units in Körner’s Folly.
  8. Event Coordination/Planning – Please be aware that Körner’s Folly staff will not be responsible for any planning or coordination beyond the logistics associated with providing the venue and use of amenities included in price for the event day. All other logistical planning must be performed by client or event coordinating service.
  9. Staffing – Subject to size of event and necessity for staffing. (Determined at time of scheduling event.) Special event staff rate per hour.
