Oktoberfest 2025 FAQ's

Thank you for joining us for the 15th annual Kernersville Oktoberfest!! Upon arrival, proceed to the Visitors Center Lobby and present your Ticket QR code sent via email at purchase to be checked in by a staff member or volunteer.
Please read below polices and answers to frequently asked questions:
- This year, Oktoberfest will be held on the grounds of the historic house Körner’s Folly and the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitors Center, located at 401 South Main Street, Kernersville NC 27284.
- This is Event is 21+ Only! Due to the nature of our ABC permit, this event is for those 21 years of age and up. Unfortunately, we cannot allow any exceptions (including infants in strollers or carriers). Officers from the Kernersville Police Department will be checking IDs at the door, so please come prepared with photo identification!
- Bring your lawn chairs! This outdoor event will be held rain or shine. Rain gear is recommended, depending on the forecast. In case of severe weather, all ticketholders will be notified via email of the backup indoor location.
- Parking is available in the lot of the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitors Center (401 S. Main Street). Overflow parking will be available at Main Street United Methodist Church (306 S. Main Street) and at Kernersville Moravian Church (504 S. Main Street), both within walking distance of the Körner’s Folly campus. Please be considerate of our neighbors and refrain from leaving trash or trampling grass or plantings.
- Enjoy a self-guided tour of historic Körner’s Folly from 1:30 – 3:00 pm. Tour & Event Check-In is located inside the Lobby of the Visitors Center (401 S Main St). Oktoberfest tickets may be redeemed for a self-guided tour anytime during the month of October 2025 if you cannot arrive early to tour on October 4.
- Event Check-In at the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitors Center opens at 1:30 pm
In the Visitors Center Lobby (401 S Main St), our staff and volunteers will scan your tickets, and you’ll receive your entry wristband and Körner’s Folly souvenir tasting glass! Feel free to place your chairs on the lawn before entering the historic home for a tour. Crossing the lawn to access the historic house for touring is permitted. - Food and Beverage Tastings begin promptly at 3:00 pm with a countdown by our DJ!
- No outside drinkware or coolers are permitted, including cups, bottles, and flasks in accordance with our ABC permit. Sponsors and volunteers will pour only into Körner’s Folly souvenir tasting glasses.
- Smoking and vaping are allowed only in the designated area.
- Last Call will be promptly at 5:45 pm. Embrace the Chicken Dance Tradition!
- Please make arrangements to get safely home using a designated driver, ride share, or other form of transportation.
