Piedmont Wind Symphony in Residence:
Presented in collaboration with Körner’s Folly, this December concert celebrates the rich heritage of Moravian holiday brass music, a tradition that dates back more than three centuries. Originating in the Moravian communities of central Europe and carried to North Carolina in the 18th century, this distinctive musical practice has become a defining sound of the Christmas season, especially in Winston-Salem and the surrounding region.
Set within the historic and imaginative surroundings of Körner’s Folly, the concert offers audiences a moment to pause amid the busy holiday season, to reflect, rejoice, and experience the enduring power of music to bring communities together.
Your ticket is valid for one performance time. We hope you’ll join us before or after the performance for conversation and light refreshments in the Community Room of the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitors Center.
To ensure the best listening experience for both our performers and audience, this concert is recommended for guests ages 13 and up. Please note that tickets are nonrefundable but may be redeemed for self-guided tour passes equal to the ticket purchase value within a year of the purchase date.
For accessibility questions and other information, please reach out to brittany@kornersfolly.org or call (336) 996-7922.
