Körner’s Folly and Poesie Perfume & Tea invite you to experience the historic house like never before in this immersive, one-of-a-kind sensory tour.

Journey through all 22 rooms of Jule Körner’s extraordinary home while uncovering the rich and layered history of perfume, from the sacred and ceremonial scents of ancient Egypt to modern fragrances crafted to tell stories in a bottle. Thoughtfully curated by expert perfumers from Poesie, this experience weaves together history, artistry, and sensory discovery throughout one of America’s earliest interior design showrooms.

As you move through the house, you’ll explore how fragrance has shaped daily life, social rituals, and personal expression across time, with special attention to the Victorian era, when scent was both deeply personal and socially meaningful. Learn how men and women selected distinct fragrances for the home, for public appearances, and for intimate moments, and how scent complemented fashion, interiors, and identity.

This hands-on tour invites you to slow down, observe, and engage your senses, allowing fragrance to become a new lens through which to experience the architecture, design, and atmosphere of Körner’s Folly.
